Introduction

This California Privacy Rights notice applies specifically to California residents who interact with My Credit Action ("MCAT", "MCA", "we", "us", "our") through our website, mobile applications, or other digital services (collectively, our "Services"). This notice supplements our general Privacy Policy and provides information required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

This California-specific privacy notice outlines rights California residents have regarding their personal information and explains how to exercise those rights. This notice does not apply to employee or contractor data, which is governed by separate internal policies.

Information excluded from CCPA/CPRA coverage includes publicly available information from government records, de-identified or aggregated consumer information, and information covered by certain financial privacy laws like the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

Information Sharing Practices

This includes sharing identifiers with service providers and credit bureaus for account management and verification purposes, financial information with payment processors for transaction processing, internet activity data with analytics providers for service improvement, and commercial information with service providers for customer support.

Additionally, we have disclosed Personal Information to Business or Nonbusiness third parties based upon the consent or at the direction of California residents to disclose their information.

In the past 12 months, we have shared Personal Identifiers and Internet or electronic network activity information with social networks, advertising networks, and data analytics providers to personalize, market, and advertise our credit improvement products and services. My Credit Action does not share Personal Information of employees, former employees, job applicants, or minors under 16 years of age. For purposes of this Disclosure, "share" means sharing a consumer's Personal Information with a third party for cross-contextual behavioral advertising for monetary or other valuable consideration or for the benefit of a business in which no money is exchanged.

In the past 12 months, we have not "sold" Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information relating to California residents (including minors under 16 years of age) as traditionally defined. For purposes of this Disclosure, "sold" means the disclosure of Personal Information to a business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. Response Timeline: We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days. We'll respond substantively within 45 days, with a possible extension of up to 45 additional days if reasonably necessary (we'll notify you of any extension).

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide proof of your written permission and verify their own identity with us. We may still require you to verify your identity directly with us for certain requests.
